Dr. Caitlin Brockenshire is a General Neurologist with a focus on Vascular Neurology and comprehensive stroke care.

Dr. Brockenshire grew up in Collierville, Tennessee, and is a graduate of Collierville High School. She had a passion for equestrian sports and horse showing, and went on to become a Division 1 athlete on the Auburn Equestrian Team, earning the honor of Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences.

She then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, earning several scholarships and awards, including the Faculty Medal for Highest Academic Achievement.

Dr. Brockenshire continued her medical training in Memphis and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Here, she gained experience in a broad variety of neurological diseases in diverse patient populations and healthcare systems. She developed a special interest in stroke care and went on to complete an ABPN-accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology at UTHSC. She remains an active member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the American Heart Association (AHA).

After completing residency and fellowship training, Dr. Brockenshire decided to continue caring for patients in the greater Memphis area and joined Semmes Murphey Clinic.
