Katie Norris is a native Memphian who grew up in Collierville, Tennessee. Her inspiration to enter the medical field came from the care and compassion she received from the many medical professionals she encountered during her multiple surgeries as a child. She wants to be able to take care of others and inspire the next generation to have the courage to do the same.

She is a University of Tennessee, Knoxville honors graduate of 2015, where she majored in Kinesiology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. After graduating, she served as a medical scribe before entering the Physician Assistant Program at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. During her time at Trevecca, she participated in two medical mission trips to Haiti with Agape to the Nations. Katie graduated, earning her Master of Science Degree in Medicine prior to joining Semmes Murphey Clinic in January 2019. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

In her spare time, she is a Tennessee Volunteers fan, health and fitness enthusiast, and world traveler.
