Dr. Frederick Boop - Winner of the Healthcare Provider - Physician Catagory

Join us as we congratulate our very own, Dr. Frederick Boop; named a winner in this year's Healthcare Heroes Awards!

Dr. Boop is a world-renown pediatric neurosurgeon who has been part of our community for over 30 years. He has changed the lives of hundreds of children and adults and is very passionate about his work and furthering the field of neurosurgery through research, publications, and innovations.

We are grateful for Dr. Boop and his contributions to the medical field and to have such a passionate, gifted surgeon in Memphis.

Kevin Foley - Finalist for the Healthcare Innovations

With more than 160 U.S. patents, the majority in medical devices, Dr. Kevin Foley is a leading innovator in the world of neurosurgery. His patent of the tubular-retractor (TR) makes minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) possible. Developed and patented in the 1990s, the TR and MISS are utilized worldwide to more easily and effectively repair a variety of spine issues and provide a better recovery environment for patients.

Dr. Foley is also the inventor of the Image-guided Spine Surgery which uses computers to achieve three-dimensional localization of targets in the spine.
