Partner hospital Le Bonheur named Best Children's Hospital

We’re proud to celebrate our colleagues at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, which was recognized among the Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report for the 14th consecutive year. The hospital ranked in eight specialties, including Neurology and Neurosurgery, which placed #32 in the nation. Semmes Murphey is a partner of Le Bonheur, and many of our physicians make up the hospital’s neurosurgery department, so we’re grateful to share this accomplishment with them!

The rankings for each specialty are determined by key clinical data from more than 100 medical centers. The data is collected from a detailed survey that examines various measures, such as patient safety, infection prevention, and adequacy of nurse staffing. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level and quality of hospital resources directly related to patient care, and expert opinion among pediatric specialists.
