Kristen Hughes, PA-C, is an experienced Physician Assistant who specializes in brain and spine care at Semmes Murphey Clinic. Focusing on both chronic and acute conditions, Kristen works closely with the clinic’s neurosurgeons to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. She has over 15 years of expertise in neurosurgery, having served in leading healthcare institutions, including Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, Northwestern Medicine, and Montefiore Health System, where she gained extensive experience in managing complex surgical cases.

Kristen earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Bachelor of Music and Biomedical Science from Western Michigan University. Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), she is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.
